About the programme
Mind From Others is an independent research programme on machine reasoning, run outside any institution and without external funding.
People
- Oleg Kozhin
- Research Lead. Responsible for the design of the experiments, the measurement infrastructure, and everything published here.
How the work is run
The programme is self-funded and self-hosted. Experiments run on local hardware with open-weight models, which constrains the scale of what can be tested and is the reason the work concentrates on measurement quality rather than model scale.
That constraint is not presented as a virtue. It sets a ceiling on which models can be studied and how large a design can be afforded, and the documentation states where that ceiling has affected a conclusion.
Collaboration
Correspondence is welcome, particularly from people willing to point out where a design is wrong. The most useful message this project can receive is a concrete objection to a method.
Citing this work
There is no citable release yet. When the first set of materials is published, it will carry a machine-readable citation file and a version number that refers to a fixed state of the code and data.
